Yes, all of our courses are derived from American Heart Association research and science and certificate cards are from the American Heart Association.
Course completion cards are valid for two years through the end of the month during which the course completion card was issued.
It is the responsibility of the AHA Training Center to issue a duplicate card if a card is lost, mutilated or otherwise becomes unusable. All requests for duplicate or replacement cards must be submitted directly to CPR Solution Saint Louis by email @ training@cpr.solutions. There is a $7.00 fee for processing replacement (hardcopy) cards. The ecard system is a feasible solution to lost hard copy cards. E-cards are housed on the American Heart Association site and are maintained for a period of two years.
You may reserve a seat through the AHA website, but course completion is not finalized until a student has registered on our website, entered personal information and submitted the course fee. Priority is given to students who have completed this process.
American Heart Association is now able to offer continuing education credits through CECBEMS for EMS students who have successfully passed the AHA provider classroom courses. CECBEMS is a national provider of continuing education credits for EMS professionals only.
Because the continuing education approval process for nurses & physicians is much more involved, CME/CE credit for these professions will not be available through the AHA at this time.
Continuing education credit will continue to be offered for multiple professions for completion of AHA online courses.

To check the validity of an AHA course completion card, contact the Training Center that issued the card. The Training Center’s information can be found on the back of the card. Our training center is: Saint Charles County Ambulance District
Our courses are currently available at the Spencer Road Library in Saint Peters. We continue to add new locations. You can verify the location of the course, by opening a course offering. Directions to the location will be made available after selecting the desired course.
Books/course materials are available for purchase as an add on item, available when completing your registration for each course. If you would like to purchase items from an outside source or purchase an ebook, please consult the American Heart Association website; http://ebooks.heart.org.
The American Heart Association provides that training centers have 30 days to issue cards to students that have successfully completed a certification course. The Saint Charles County Ambulance District distributes our training cards, and very rarely takes more than 1 week to disburse cards. Proof of completion of the certification course can be supplied to each student at the completion of each class. This will serve as proof of certification to your employer/school.
We are working to provide same days cards, and hope to have this up and running momentarily.
Of course we can. If you attend a CPR Solution Saint Louis certification course, we will provide you with an automated reminder of your card expiration within 3 months of the date it expires.
We normally offer classes every Sunday. Courses are usually held at the Spencer Road Library, but please be alert for additional locations, when selecting the desired course date/time. We look forward to meeting you.
An AHA eCard is the electronic equivalent of a printed course completion card and can be provided to students as an alternative to a printed card. eCards are valid course completion cards and can be presented to employers as proof of successful completion of an AHA course. Like printed cards, eCards also expire two years from the issue date.
AHA eCards are more secure than printed cards. A three-point verification by the TCC, Instructor and student, is required to issue and claim eCards. eCard information is populated electronically by the TCC or Instructor and can only be altered by the TCC or AHA Customer Service by using AHA’s My Cards™. eCards can be easily verified by employers at www.heart.org/cpr/mycards to prove issuance by a valid TC and Instructor aligned with that TC.
No, they are optional. Each Training Center will determine whether they distribute eCards or the physical course completion cards. Only one of the two will be issued per participant
Yes, employers may verify that an AHA eCard is authentic by entering the card information at www.heart.org/cpr/mycards.
The AHA has also created a memo on the validity of eCards for employers who may request an official AHA statement. Click here for this memo.
Yes. An AHA eCard can be printed by the student or Instructor, if necessary.
After a student claims an eCard, the student’s AHA TCC/TC Admin or the AHA Customer Support Center is able to make edits to the course date, the Instructor name, and the student’s name or email address.
Students who have been assigned/emailed an eCard will receive an email inviting them to claim their eCard online. From the email, students will click on a hyperlink to view their eCard. This hyperlink will direct students to the Student Profile webpage.
On the Student Profile page, students confirm or edit their contact information; set up a security question and answer that will be used to access their individual eCard Profile in the future; and agree to the AHA’s standard Terms of Use.
Students are then asked to complete a brief six-question survey about their class experience. Once the student survey has been completed, students will see their individual eCard.
